about us
our story
I’ve always felt a deep connection to the transformative power of movement- both mentally and physically. That being said, growing up as an athlete, the focus with movement was always to implement change in my body. It was about becoming faster, stronger, smaller, or bigger. I never felt motivated to feel appreciation for what I could already do, and there was never a place to go that encouraged celebrating your body and mind just as they are.
Amethyst is that place. Amethyst is all about bringing the calm confident light that’s already in us to shine brighter, and more powerfully. It’s about finding gratitude for our mind and body. A space to move with the goal to just feel good.
We work from the inside out with Reiki, and Nutrition counseling, as well as Yoga and low impact fitness such as Barre & Pilates. Offering a variety of forms of sustainable movement and healing, we aim to ensure our community has options for how they feel moment to moment. Amethyst is a safe space to realize that our bodies are our homes, and we deserve to feel at ease and comfortable within them.
